چکیده
We characterize the topological configurations of points and lines that may arise when placing n on a circle drawing perpendicular bisectors sides corresponding convex cyclic n-gon. also provide exact asymptotic formulas describing random realizable configuration, obtained either by sampling uniformly at or configuration random.

Universal points of convex bodies and bisectors in Minkowski spaces
We deal with different properties of a smooth and strictly convex body that depend on the behavior of the planar sections of the body parallel to and close to a given tangent plane. The first topic is boundary points where any given convex domain in the tangent plane can be approximated by a sequence of suitably rescaled planar sections (so-called p-universal points). In the second topic, the g...
متن کاملCoincidence Quasi-Best Proximity Points for Quasi-Cyclic-Noncyclic Mappings in Convex Metric Spaces
We introduce the notion of quasi-cyclic-noncyclic pair and its relevant new notion of coincidence quasi-best proximity points in a convex metric space. In this way we generalize the notion of coincidence-best proximity point already introduced by M. Gabeleh et al cite{Gabeleh}. It turns out that under some circumstances this new class of mappings contains the class of cyclic-noncyclic mappings ...
متن کاملSmall Triangle-Free Configurations of Points and Lines
In the paper we show that all combinatorial triangle-free configurations for v ≤ 18 are geometrically realizable. We also show that there is a unique smallest astral (183) triangle-free configuration and its Levi graph is the generalized Petersen graph G(18, 5). In addition, we present geometric realizations of the unique flag transitive triangle-free configuration (203) and the unique point tr...
متن کاملOn some points-and-lines problems and configurations
We apply an old method for constructing points-and-lines configurations in the plane to study some recent questions in incidence geometry. What are known as “Points and Lines” puzzles are found very interesting by many people. The most familiar example, here given, to plant nine trees so that they shall form ten straight rows with three trees in every row, is attributed to Sir Isaac Newton, but...
